OPEX solar systems for solar power plants are based on PLT-CSST corrugated flexible pipes made of AISI 304 stainless steel (designation: 1.4301 – X5CrNi18-10) with a thickness of 0.3 mm and pre-insulation.
The system features EPDM closed-cell insulation with protective cladding, ensuring excellent durability and thermal performance. The insulation is protected by specialized films that provide high resistance to UV radiation and mechanical wear.
A special flexible expanded polyurethane formula allows the pipe to operate continuously at temperatures of up to 150 °C. The thermal insulation layer is covered with aluminum, which is further protected by a UV-resistant and abrasion-resistant film, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding environments.
For maximum installation flexibility, OPEX systems offer four different connection solutions:

These connection options allow reliable integration between OPEX components as well as with other systems.
The connecting threads of the components comply with international standards and are equipped with high-temperature-resistant sealing elements (gaskets) designed to withstand the fluids and operating conditions typical of solar thermal power plants.
